negative number for bitrate value

Dmitri-8
Hello
I just saw the output of the ffmpeg command for one of the mpeg1 file I
was encoding and I noticed
that bitrate value is a negative value

Duration: 00:00:00.0, start: 0.000000, bitrate: -2147483 kb/s

bitrate shows as a negative number?

What does it mean when it's a negative number?
