logo overlay

jackyr
Hi gourous

I am using FFmpeg as a basic user, converting VOB to FLV videos
I am using time to time avisynth to overlay some logo over the video
but would like to get rid of it

The libavfilter seems be able to perform that job
am I wrong ?
question 1 : do you know the basic command line to do so ?

question 2:
if yes is there a way to overlay this logo at different place while the
video is running ? (then overlay in different X:Y location during encoding)

thanks a lot

Yes, check the file doc/libavfilter.texi in the soc repo.

No, that should be possible though making the over_x/y expressions
accept a time value.

Regards.

I believe this thread was about "overlay", not "split".

You'll find a command line example in the doc/libavfilter.texi file,
***in the soc repo*** (that is *not* in the main repo).

Regards.

Re: logo overlay

Thanks a lot
I really appreciate your help
sorry for misundestanding
I guessed split was used to create 2
concurrent streams to later overlay after
applying 2 differents processes
I will wait the binary release
congratulation for all of you who make a really great job
cheers
