If you think configure made a mistake, make sure you are using the latest
version from Git. If the latest version fails, report the problem to the
[hidden email] mailing list or IRC #ffmpeg on irc.freenode.net.
Include the log file "config.log" produced by configure as this will help

Can you please help me understand this sentence you quoted?
Please include the file config.log.
It is quite large, I personally would prefer you post the first and
last 50 lines of it first.
Does it work if you build only ffmpeg from source? You're cross-compiling, right?
I believe using "-host" is not the correct way to go, you may need to
use "--enable-cross-compile --cross-prefix=...".
