dav files

Rick Corteza
Hello,

I want to ask about the capabilities with ffmpeg and dav files. I know that ffmpeg can convert the video, but what if the dav file has audio? It doesn’t seem to recognize or convert the audio, but it’s also difficult to be sure since playing dav files seems quite complicated to begin with (on a Mac). Any input would be great thanks!

I created ticket #6144, it is possible to implement the feature
but unfortunately somebody has to do it...

What gives you that this file have any audio at all?

I converted dav to avi with existing tool and it did not recovered audio.

What software can actually recover audio if it is present at all?
