Usage of AVC/XAVC in MXF for 2K and 4K

Grégoire Cutzach
Hello,

Does anyone knows if its possible to produce AVC/XAVC-I for classes 300 and 480 in mxf ?
As avcintra-class option of libx264 seems to take only values for 50, 100 and 200, is there any support for now ?

Equally it seems that some XAVC-L support have been added to code in this last year.
Does anyone can provide examples for XAVC-L 2K and 4K ?

Thank you,
Grégoire.

You mean with FFmpeg?

Please provide such samples (made with another encoder).

If this is an issue with x264 (and not with FFmpeg), this is not the right
place to ask;-(

Yes, I mean produce this kind of files with FFMPEG.

Here is a link for samples of XAVC-I Class 300 MXFs produced by a Sony
FS7 Camera.
https://we.tl/t-2NyJQYFPAy

If I'll got Class 480 files in future I'll provide them in this thread.

For the second part of my question, message received ;).
It will be addressed to the correct mailing list.

Thanks.
Grégoire
