Styling of .ass subtitles

Daniel Grip
Hi,
Is there a way to change for example margins and font size when using "ass=sub.ass" to hardcode subtitles?
With "subtitles=sub.ass" you can use force_style, but is there a similar way with the ass=sub.ass filter?

Thanks,

Daniel

I think what you are looking to do would be more easily done with an ass/ssa editor like Aegisub or a simple text editor if your changes are simple enough. I think you are wanting to change the subtitles themselves before burning them into the video. The “styles” are defined within the subtitles themselves so if they’re not in the .ass you would have to write them in.
