Sound video desynch

jackyr
Hi Ffmpeg users

I am not a gourou , and using time to time FFMPEG which is really great
A bit complex to undestand all the commands but it is very usefull thanks

I have to encode once a week  90 minutes VOB to H264 FLV files
Time to time I have the sound and video out of synchro
FFMPEG tells which the video does not starts with  keyframe

Is there a way to get ride off, do you have advices on how to proceed
To resynch . Time to time by selecting a different frame rate I can conclude
With a flv file in phase

Thanks to all inputs

Jacky

Re: Sound video desynch

Hi,

Try "-async 1" and see if that helps.   It could be that your input streams really are out of sync.

Cheers,
Jacques
