Mainconcept bad decoding.

Dennis
Hi all.

I'm trying to encoder mpeg to 3gp and have problems with a mpeg source file.
Audio track is encoded as 140 seconds and video is 206 seconds... : ))

http://rapidshare.com/files/82302675/DA_117588fd522.mpg.html
it's a MainConcept muxed mpeg2-ps. Plays fin in Windows using
Mianconcept demuxer.

Thank you.
Dennis.

if it contains  h264 video you need to pass  -vcodec h264
(or something similar,  read the docs)

I forgot to remind you that samples in rapidshare and friends are
absolutely unacceptable.
Upload to ftp://upload.mplayerhq.hu/incoming  instead

Thank you Nico, but it didn't work.
Which docs you are referring to,
http://ffmpeg.mplayerhq.hu/documentation.html ?

I have tried:
vcodec, acodec, -f, -async, -vsync, none produce accurate file. Async
breaks up audio track into short slices, but it is same length as
video. The sample file could not be uploaded to mplayer server, it
gives me 550 error.

Thanks.
Dennis.

ok, IIUC at least both audio and video  can be decoded correctly,
right? A sample would show what's wrong, but ...

The sample is uploaded to the right FTP:
ftp://upload.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/incoming/Mainconcept_MPEG/DA_117588fd522.mpg
