Loss in frames while cutting video with -ss parameter

Gracias, Hansel
Dear Team,

I have a 15 min video file from which I want to extract a part starting from fifth second and end to 10 mins 5 secs. I used the below command:-

ffmpeg  -i start.wma -ss 00:00:05 -t 00:10:00 -c copy VideoClip.wma

The issue is :-
There is a loss of initial 5-8 seconds frames and I get video directly jumping to 00:00:10 instead of 00:00:05.

However reencoding the video works fine but takes too much time.

Please provide the solution to tackle with this without reencoding.

With best regards,
Hansel Gracias

Complete, uncut console output missing.

Are you sure there is a keyframe between 0 and ten seconds?

Just to make sure: Please find out what top-posting means and avoid it here.
