Copy DVD to Matroska container with DVD menus

Ulf Zibis
Hi all,

is it possible to copy the content of a DVD to a Matraska container with
all DVD menus, chapters, all audio languages and all subtitles, so the
MKV file could be used similar as a DVD and optionally copied back to a
DVD later?

I suspect it is possible but certainly not with FFmpeg that
knows nothing about DVDs and DVD menus.
