Compiling ffmpeg to WinCE

jersingsu.tw
Hi
I built ffmpeg on cygwin:

$ ./configure --cross-compile
--cross-prefix=/opt/mingw32ce/arm-wince-mingw32ce
/bin/ --prefix=/usr/local/wince/ --arch=armv4l
--target-os=mingw32 --enable-mem
align-hack --enable-static --disable-shared
--extra-ldflags='-L /usr/local/lib'
 --extra-libs='-l llrint' --extra-cflags=-mno-cygwin
--extra-libs=-mno-cygwin

After make, there're many error message repeatedly:
In file included from /_ffmpeg/libavutil/common.h:40,
                 from /_ffmpeg/libavutil/avutil.h:40,
                 from
/_ffmpeg/libavcodec/avcodec.h:30,
                 from
/_ffmpeg/libavformat/framehook.h:31,
                 from vhook/fish.c:47:
/opt/mingw32ce/lib/gcc/arm-wince-mingw32ce/4.1.0/../../../../arm-wince-mingw32ce
/include/errno.h:12:25: error: no include path in
which to search for errno.h

The path of errno.h is correct.
Why it said so ?
Could you please help to correct the mistake ?

Thanks a lot !!!
Jersingsu

I have no experience with WinCE cross-compilation, but your configure
line looks too similar to a mix of
a) compilation under Cygwin and
b) cross-compilation to MinGW under Cygwin.

What you want is cross-compilation to WinCE under Cygwin.

Hi:
I build tcpmp using Embedded Visual C++.
There're repeatedly many .h couldn't be found:

Could not find the file stdint.h.
Could not find the file alloc.h.
Could not find the file unix.h.
Could not find the file unistd.h.
Could not find the file unixio.h.
Could not find the file unistd.h.

How do you think about this issues ?
Could you help me to correct it ?
Thanks a lot !!!

I changed to use cegcc to build ffmpeg on Cygwin,
cross compiling to WinCE:

$ ./configure --cross-compile
--cross-prefix=/opt/cegcc/arm-wince-cegcc/bin/ --
prefix=/usr/local/wince --arch=armv4l
--extra-cflags=-mcpu=arm926ej-s --disable
-mpegaudio-hp --enable-memalign-hack --disable-static
--enable-shared --extra-l
dflags='-L /usr/local/lib' --extra-libs='-l llrint'

$make

There're repeatedly some errors after make:

armv4l/simple_idct_armv5te.S:341: Warning: .type
pseudo-op used outside of .def/
.endef ignored.
armv4l/simple_idct_armv5te.S:341: Error: junk at end
of line, first unrecognized
 character is `i'

Any expert could help me to correct these errors ?

I modified the compiling parameter :
--arch=armv4l ==> --arch=armv4i

and in configure:

SLIB_EXTRA_CMD='-lib /machine:i386
/def:$(@:$(SLIBSUF)=.def)'

==>

SLIB_EXTRA_CMD='-lib /machine:arm /subsystem:windowsce
/def:$(@:$(SLIBSUF)=.def)'

After make, There're many error messages undefined
reference to :

for examples:

mp3_header_compress_bsf.o: In function
`mp3_header_compress':
/_ffmpeg/libavcodec/mp3_header_compress_bsf.c:44:

undefined reference to `av_

/_ffmpeg/libavcodec/mp3_header_decompress_bsf.c:72:
undefined reference to `av_

noise_bsf.o: In function `noise':
/_ffmpeg/libavcodec/noise_bsf.c:31: undefined
reference to `av_malloc'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [cygavcodec-51.dll] Error 1

Any expert could help me to solve it ?
