Command line to convert mp4 file to wmv format

Naveen Aluri
Hi ,
      I have tried to convert from mp4 to wmv format using the following
command

ffmpeg -y -i ../VIDEO_013.mp4 -s 640*400 -vcodec wmv2 -g 200 -qmin 4 -b
1500k -r 24 -acodec wmav2 -ar 48000 -ac 2 -ab 128k video.wmv
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----
the result is........

FFmpeg version SVN-r11246, Copyright (c) 2000-2007 Fabrice Bellard, et al.
  configuration:
  libavutil version: 49.6.0
  libavcodec version: 51.49.0
  libavformat version: 52.2.0
  built on Dec 17 2007 15:09:34, gcc: 3.4.2 20041017 (Red Hat 3.4.2-6.fc3)

Seems stream 1 codec frame rate differs from container frame rate: 30000.00
(30000/1) -> 15.00 (15/1)
Input #0, mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2, from '../VIDEO_013.mp4':
  Duration: 00:00:10.0, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 397 kb/s
    Stream #0.0(und): Audio: samr / 0x726D6173, 8000 Hz, mono
    Stream #0.1(und): Video: mpeg4, yuv420p, 320x240 [PAR 1:1 DAR 4:3],
15.00 tb(r)
Output #0, asf, to 'video.wmv':
    Stream #0.0(und): Video: wmv2, yuv420p, 640x400 [PAR 5:6 DAR 4:3],
q=4-31, 1500 kb/s, 24.00 tb(c)
    Stream #0.1(und): Audio: wmav2, 48000 Hz, stereo, 128 kb/s
Stream mapping:
  Stream #0.1 -> #0.0
  Stream #0.0 -> #0.1
Unsupported codec (id=73728) for input stream #0.0

I have tried with different options,but I dint get my problem solved

So any help will be appreciated

Thanks  in advance .

You need to install libamr_nb and/or libamr_wb, then compile ffmpeg
with --enable-libamr-nb and/or --enable-libamr-wb

Yes you're right, I was expecting to find some information about the
configuration options, and my internal parser skipped the part with:
configuration:

since I'm not used to see that line empty, so I was expecting the
configuration line and I thought he cutted it... (this is what happens
when you quickly read and reply).

One minute of silence with ffmpeg:
ffmpeg -ar 48000 -t 60 -f s16le -acodec pcm_s16le -i /dev/zero  \
    -ab 64K -f mp2 -acodec mp2 -y silence.mp2
