Bug with SAR (sample aspect ratio) ?

Ulf Zibis
Hi,

the attached JPEG is extracted with ffmpeg from a video with 704x576
[SAR 12:11 DAR 4:3].
The x/y dpi values then should be 11/12 instead 12/11.
The resulting JPEG now has a DAR of 1.12 instead of 1.333 (4:3).

If you want this to be fixed provide input file, not output file.
Use one of upload service.

I don't have such, and I don't think this is needed here. The bug should
be reproducible from any video with asymetric SAR by:

ffmpeg -ss 05:00 -t 00:01 -i in.mp4 sample%02d.jpg

Now I have created a bug ticket: https://trac.ffmpeg.org/ticket/7623
