12.04 Ubuntu Compilation Guide

I believe there is a dependency for librtmp-dev that should also be added to the Ubuntu desktop users.

An error comes up in the ./configure step for ffmpeg.

You know, it *is* a wiki ;)
That said, I'm currently compiling using that exact guide (by complete
coincidence) so if I get the same error I'll add that to the guide
myself.

Fixed. Thanks.

Changelog:
* remove librtmp (native support exists)
* remove libfaac (use libfdk_aac instead)
* keep pkg-config (installed by default IIRC, other non-ffmpeg stuff
depends)
